I don't know where else to put this but I feel I need to get this off my chest:

I can't fucking stand people who have no sympathy for soldiers.

I am a college lefty, anti-war, all that shit; it's hard enough I support gun rights, but when it comes to talking to people who have no concept of American soldiers as fellow human beings it gets on my nerves.
I have to proceed calmly and slowly, because the line that soldiers are unthinking unfeeling animals seems to be gospel in the circles in which I run and it makes me want to pull out my fucking teeth and stab them in their eyes with them.

Is this how it is for most anti-war liberals? Where the fuck are the anti-war veterans groups so I can have a fucking discussion with reasonable human beings?

Horrible horrifying shit has happened in our wars, I know. But fucking hell, hate the people who started them, not the poor motherfuckers forced to fight them.

It just digs deep, it hurts, I come from a formerly military family, and its really aggravating listening to these harpies.
