hello /k/

buying an air rifle (yes i know sucks here in UK) lol, going to hunt rabbit over the next couple of weeks, anyone got any decent hunting tips? i.e. stalking, quarry dispatching, shooting.

Small game hunting is one of the most challenging things you can do. Location and time of day is key, you also need to take into account other predators. Hawks and cats are better at hunting than you are, so don't compete.

Find an area, usually at the entrance to a meadow or a brambly area with a clearing between two sources of cover. The idea is to catch the rabbits as they transition across open ground. Try to get there either really late at night or really early in the morning. 3-8 am is best.

Rabbits like to stay cool, so if you live in an area where it gets hot in the mid afternoon, they may not be out foraging from about 12-4. See rabbits in my yard all the time, but only on the overcast days will you see them out during those ours.

Also, i've saw different videos, of people that say it is best to shoot half way exhaling, and other peple saying just pause your breathing, whats the best one?
