Why isn't FN Herstal considered to be an "elite" company like Sig Sauer or H&K? FN has been around longer than both Sig Sauer and H&K and has produced fucktons of military weapons for various countries ever since the 1800s, they also produced light vehicles for both civilian and military use. Today, FN is keeping up with modern tactical weaponry with guns like the Five-seveN, FNX, F2000, SCAR, Minimi and SLP Shotgun.

However, I never see FN being talked about with the same high regard as Sig or H&K. People seem to like the Hi-Power and FAL and that's about it...in fact I see more people badmouthing FN's modern designs a lot, even though they're all proven and reliable.

So what's the deal?
