Anyone on /k/ own any NFA Machine Guns?

When I move out of MN, I'd like to invest in a Mac-10. 4200$ isn't much too bad IMO. Do you own any NFA items? If so, what type? Also ITT, feel free to talk about your hate for the BATFE and FDR.

Yes, compared to pretty much any non machine gun. It's an investment. Unless by some act-of-god the Hughes Amendment is repealed, it'll just keep getting more expensive. You would have to give your local PD your fingerprints, but you'd have do that for any other NFA item as well.

mufflers were restricted then because they could and because, despite the appearances, there ARE people who know what they're doing on the dark side. it was a very effective blow against the proliferation of the shooting sports, if silencers had gone unrestricted we would probably have seen EVERYONE shooting in the 50's (as opposed to the 30/40%), and continuing to today.
