I HAS PROBLEM:
Pic related. It's a Remington 11-48. This one is chambered in 12 ga, and it runs like a champ. I love it.
Here's the problem: I own ANOTHER 11-48, chambered in .410. It's a gun of considerable sentimental value for me, but it's developed a hiccup. It will chamber, fire and eject a single cartridge with no problem, but if there's another shell in the magazine, it will stovepipe with the bold locked back, the empty hanging out of the ejection port, and the new shell caught on the shell lifter as if waiting for the bolt to return.
I've replaced both the recoil and action springs, cleaned and oiled every nook and cranny, and even held the 12ga trigger assy next to the .410 trigger assembly looking for anything amiss. Nothing.
Any ideas?
