there haven't many .22 lr threads lately, so I thought I'd start one since I have several questions.
pictured is my 10/22 with shitty (but effective) wally world scope mounts and wally world bushnell 4x scope. I've got it zeroed out to 60ish yards and it works ok, but everyone talks about tack driving, and while my setup will reliably hit something squirrel-sized, I want a tac driver!
I used red loctite (oops) on the screws holding the scope rings to the reciever, so I don't think they're coming off. If I wanna start over, what would be the ideal semi-auto .22 lr rifle + scope and mount setup for under $500?
