Guys, I have a srs question. I know /k/omrades may be able to help, but then again it's kinda late, so here goes nothin'.

Basically, I've decided on the Marine Corps. Now the question remains on what to do with myself--do I wana go into ROTC? Maybe just enlisted? Either way I want dat college money, but if I go as an officer I'm sure I'd like to be an Infantry Officer. Down in the field, first to charge, all that shit. Seems appealing.

Any wise advice on this from you folks? Maybe I'm a stupid 18 year old with nothing to do? I'm not trying to get myself killed but I don't fear death. It's mainly my dad that has a problem with the military at all. (He spazzes when I mention it.)
