The death of Bin Laden is significant, but it only matters if there is real value in getting rid of him. Will Al Qaeda and other terror networks capitulate because of this? Will American soldiers be able to leave the Middle East?
If none of that happens, then this is only a short-lived morale boost that will be nearly irrelevant by the time election season rolls around. If Obama does nothing with it, then his campaign will have to use it to justify his reason to continue handling the war in Afghanistan.
