the death of osama bin laden really gets you thinking about military technology. like how they got information on the structure of the compound that he was hidden in and whether they knew how many alqueda forces were inside. do you think we have drones yet that can reach anywhere close to the height of an sr-71? inb4 satellite

There is no reason why a drone cant fly as high as an SR71.

Hell they could probably fly an SR71 without the pilot using just a few modifications

pretty sure they have, its added safety like if the pilot somehow all die during takeoff/landing.

However having flights without pilots would probably be economic suicide
