why dont modern soilders wear any form tasset,guantlet or greave?

wouldn't that provide better protection aussming they modernized them?

Armor right now, is designed to protect vital areas getting shot in your forearm will not kill you. Getting shot in the shoulder or thigh might cause you to bleed out.

Most soldiers wont use it because they would rather get out of the fire and into cover faster and not have to lug around all that extra hot, heavy, bulky armor all day.

I dont know but they should have full face helmets by now at the very least. I think I heard something about them testing a new one that looks like a motorcycle helmet.

Those are both wrong though, the hands are actually in the wrist area, and presumably the feet are somewhere in the calfs. The gloves are controlled by servos.
