Help me remember a book /lit/
It's a children's book, well series of books, published at some point between '96 and '05 (I think), about an orphan who is adopted by his aunt and uncle, who are insane.
They go off galavanting about and having adventures and so forth. It's extremely funny, (to a child at least) and set in the victorian sort of era, so naturally the child is often made to sleep in cupboards and so on.
I can't remember the title, author, characters or anything and it's driving me mad. I DO recall that the cover of the first in the series was green and displayed the main character, (child) and his insane uncle.
