The other option for an epic /m/ game of this is playing as TEC, building a couple of Novaliths (one of which is on a planet called Iserlohn), name your capital Heinessenpolis/The Empire home world (or Phezzan for the lulz) and re-enacting LoGH.
1) Max out capital ships with battleships/dreadnoughts.
2) Max out Kodiaks and Carriers, fill gaps with missile frigates.
3) Put on Hikari No Hashi Wo Koete or Revolution of the Heart.
4) ?????
5) Profit.
Sins is a fun game, fuck the haters. If you're losing planets when your fleet isn't there, BUILD MORE HANGAR BAYS. Bomber wings rape everything. Defence platforms suck.
Also, if you're Advent, make sure you've got an Anti-matter charger and a Repair bay on the front lines.
And who else named their first capital ship either "White Base," "Brunhild" or "SDF-1 Macross?" I know I did (and then had other ships named SDF Global, SDF Galaxy, SDF Frontier and Megaroad)
