Yes, I'm really overjoyed that Fighbird was completely subbed.

I'd say it's been a pretty good year fullstop. We've had the Shin Getter manga finished, progress on Getter Go, GaoGaiGar got DVD releases, people are fighting the subninjas for Xabungle, there's a 30th Anniversary for Gundam coming up, and SRW Z had all sorts of funky new shows.

Alas, this is the only non-GGG Yuusha image in my folder. Let's get posting, people!

Suitable HK subs of Might Gaine have existed for quite a while. They was even a torrent of the series. Also, a group a long time ago got more than halfway done with fansubbing might gaine. All the half-assed attention might gaine has gotten is pretty damn disappointing, but real fans have seen it already. i guess everyone else can wait until 2015, when someone gives it the full fansubbing treatment.

At this point, im sure most people think "HK subs are unacceptable," but unfortunately so many groups have tried and failed to complete the series that its unlikely any other group is going to step up and finish the series.

Seconded on "suitable". I got the HK bootleg set of Might Gaine and it was fine. Nothing godly, but a lot better than the common Mazinger ones or that one from Getter about loathing the sudden octopus or whatever.

But Onmitsu is pretty amazing. A full series in one year is virtually unheard of for older series. Most subbers can only keep up weekly releases for currently airing series.
