>>6405825ZZ doesn't introduce anything new to the UC era, it's just a followup to Zeta that ties up some loose ends. Even then, it's not that great at it, as Neo Zeon wasn't defeated and that certain character who disappeared at the end of Zeta comes back in CCA, not ZZ. ZZ got the short end of the stick when it came to how important the events in ZZ were.
I'm sorry, but when CCA was greenlit, ZZ got shafted as the script and certain characters were rewritten to make way for things to happen in CCA, but it wasn't done well. OP can watch it if he wants, but I don't think he wants to pile on 50 more episodes that won't exactly help him to understand what the fuck is the Unicorn, the Sleeves, Londo Bell or Laplace (La+). At least MSG introduced the main conflict between the Earth and space colonies (Federation and Zeon) and Zeta introduced some of the social problems concerning the two vastly different sorts of people (earthnoid and spacenoid) and CCA closed the rivalry on the two most important characters in the UC stories and introduced the technology used in Unicorn.
TL;DR fuck you I liked ZZ but it's not exactly going to make the difference between him understanding Unicorn or not.
