if you want to argue that it's because Kira took over the show, that's not the issue, it was never planned that way, and it's what ruined the show so we can ignore it anyways.

One of the many mistakes of SEED was giving every fucking side a Gundam. Why did the boss had to be a Gundam? Couldn't have been a Zaku/Zeong-inspired design?And the Legend was a lame clone of the Providence. Fuck, all of Destiny's finale was a copy-paste of SEED, with added humilliation

Gravion doesn't really count since you need to watch Zwei as well, which is another 12 episodes. Otherwise, you're literally only getting half of the story.

I'll refrain from commenting on the quality, but still, if you only watch the first half and don't watch Zwei, you miss a lot since it's a continuation of the story. Skipping it would be like only reading half of a book.
