I just started watching Votom and I like it. I've only watched Gundam and Evangelion considering mecha and I'd like to see a recommendation list to see what other good mechas are out there.

Seconding Gasaraki, as long as you understand that it can/will get pretty weird from time to time. Ryosuke Takahashi apparently has a thing for mixing realism with mysticism, and that mysticism part (depending on how prominent it ends up being) tends to be met with mixed reactions.
