What skills are worth purchasing for sub-pilots? Or do they work only when the pilot is set as main? Rossiu has like 500PP and I don't know what to give him. Similar with Aquarion pilots.

Sub-pilots as in D.Nova sub-pilots can't be given skill.

But for switchable pilot like Rossiu, Musashi and co, if they have good support seishin, just bump them with SP Up.

Aquarion's ability replaces the main pilot's stats with those of the two copilots, if the copilot's stat is higher. Pump melee on one, and skill on the other, and give Apollo Attack Again.

Any other machines... just go with SP Up, I guess.

Give Hayato Dash with getter's FUB for maximum movement ability.

Aquarion like other people said, pump melee on one pilot and skill on the other.

Others just pump SP up if you're not going to use them as a main pilot and just sp tanks.

Anyone know what Rossiu's ace bonus is? Hayato and Benkei have pretty worthwhile ace bonuses. Hayato's ace bonus gets 20% to Getter Vision activation which I think bumps it up to a whopping 70%. Benkei's ace bonus turns kiai into kihaku (+30 morale)

Actually, Rossiu isn't switchable per se. What happens is that you can change whose stats you're gonna be using. So it's either Kamina/Rossiu or Simon's stats.

Hit And Away is a good candidate if you don't plan on him doing much killing, if you don't want to launch a Command on a group of people you can peg away at something and then place him in a better position. He gets good damage seishin towards the end of the game between him and C.C. so his late game usefulness as a pilot goes up alot.

I heard that 1 morale = 1% increase in damage, therefore at 150morale your damage output will be x1.5, can any1 confirm ?
If that's the case, break morale limit would be very useful for boss killing

Might be true. It should be taken into account that the opposite is true. Higher morale amounts to damage negation. Just in my opinion really I find that there are more useful skills than limit break. Not that I find it bad, I leave it on the people who have it since they benefit largely from it (Spiral Power activation after 130 morale increases damage based on spiral power level and morale; Ryouma's ace bonus is 1.3 times damage at 150 morale)

I've never played a SRW game (because tbh i haven't watched many mechas other then some of the gundams and gurren lagann so i wouldn't know the characters)

It doesn't, the animation for that attack is lolwut. Crow better hope he doesn't suffer the same fate as most of the other sniper characters. I don't think Hit And Away is a big deal for Crowe since alot of his moves are post-movement enabled. I think the first time I played I gave him continuous movement, dash, and...actually, what was the last one? I forget. Continuous movement and dash take the cake though because most of the SR points rely on you dominating the map in a short number of turns, so getting your guys out fast is priority number one. The boost seishin was probably the most used seishin in my entire game, hands down.

For those who already finished the game, I heard that stage 48 was suppose to be the 4 CB Gundams againts the GN Xs and Ali and after you killed Ali, the rest of Zexis would show up but when I got to the stage it was a regular "every one deploys stage" while the CB Gundams are event units.

It's a three part stage, the first part is pretty basic, you fight all the GN-Xs and the flag fighters and shit, the second part you fight some more GN-Xs, Ali, then Alejandro in his bling-bling MA. Third part of the stage is just Setsuna versus the gay golden MS version of Alejandro's unit.

And i started with only the grey mech from the beginning and at some point this...thing came out of no where moved half way across the map and hit about 10000 killing him instantly.

I bought him Break Will Limit, B-Save, and Status Protection because I was getting fucking tired of the will drain from Bull Damons. I would probably do Continuous Movement instead of Status Protection in the future.

I guess it's worth noting that I play without upgrades.

It works, if you lean more towards Real type tendencies. As far as usefulness goes, Blaster is fucking boss. The attacks and armaments kind of remind me of Armored Core type weaponry in a way. You can be sure there will be more crazyass upgrading in 2.2.

Nah, I was kind of prepared for it not having an upgrade what with the game being two parts and all. Pretty much all of the units in Part 1 don't get their big upgrades since it's being saved for Part 2, so it didn't seem fair to me to single out the Brasta for that.

Other than that, I still think it's a cool unit. I love it's nets, and shield-blade, and energy spikes, and the SPIGOT. It has a ton of versatility as a machine, and it looks awesome in motion.

Not much, I don't think. Except take a different route 2nd run. I took the space route (stage 43 she popped up). Funnily enough, I don't recall convincing her on 43 at all. IIRC I destroyed Pearl Nail. I could be wrong though.

On Stage 36 shoot her down with Crowe
On Stage 42 Earth route or Stage 43 Space route Convince her with Crowe, she will then retreat.
On Stage 49, kill Schwar first, do not attack Marguerite, an event will occur and she will join you on the spot after the event.

The finale of Z2 should be all of the units combining together and forming a drill which uses a combination of Getter Rays and Spiral Power to transform into an even bigger drill, which is then wielded by the fully awakened Brasta, which has also turned into a drill. Then they use that to defeat the big bad of the game.

The ending will be Crow holding a snow-globe while sitting in the middle of a drill factory, surrounded by drills.

And inside the snow-globe is another drill.

How is it not an answer? Virtually everyone going into this knew that the game was a two parter and that the story was going to be unfinished and divided. Apparently nobody besides you expected a fully upgraded godmachine with no room left to improve on.

I don't really see them upgrading the Blaster much more. Lately it seems like they've been preferring to make original protagonists have just one form and they gain an attack or two about 2/3 through the game. Shit's been going on since like Z, right? Depends on who you played, Rand was kind of that way. Setsuko had more of the traditional upgrade. It depends on how you look at it, really, I suppose. I guess they figured Gunleon was boss enough to where all it really needed was just a uber final. Nothin wrong with that, really. I suppose you can never tell. Here's the fact of the story as far as the end of Z2 goes though. It is stated that Blaster is incomplete and will recieve further upgrades, and that Esther will get her own seperate Blaster unit. What happens from there is anyone's guess at this point.

You hit the nail on the head. I don't mind lack of an upgrade so long as the original mecha is sufficiently awesome. Alt Eisen and Randgrith were two of my favorites, and they got upgrades VERY late or never at all. But still, they were boss as hell. Just like Gunleon. He got a better boss killer, and what more could you really ask for?

Well, Setsuko did get upgraded as Z1 went on. Twice actually, they just weren't a full unit upgrade. The first time, she gets Denzel's unit as well as an upgraded Gunnery Carver. The second time, she gets a brand new Gunnery Carver and a pair of wings.

Rand only got two new attacks, but the lack of a real upgrade for him kind of makes sense in a way. Activating Magna Mode with Gunleon causes him to be put through an extreme amount of pain, which is why he doesn't have it activated all the time. Kind of a lame excuse, but at least they tied it to the story.

The problem is that DMs have crazy high skill. You're basically looking at King Gainer with Game Champ or Aquarion with Element System abuse to actually get attack again working on them, and most of the dangerous late-game enemies are DMs. Even Amuro will trail off on double-attacking late in the game.

Also continuous is movement is amazing a unit with good long-and-short ranged options. Roger would be able to run up and Piston Fist some poor fucker to death, then laser the shit out of something else. He even has 50 SP soul to use with it and can have Dorothy use Sense.

I could be wrong, since I haven't finished the game yet but...

from what I can tell, Ciony is the sovereign of country of Limonesia, which gets vaporized in the dimensional rupture that Aim orchestrates in order to allow Gaiou & friends into this world.

And from then, she's basically used as a political face and financial backer for the Imperium. And... unless I'm mistaken, the reality of her country's destruction seems to cause a mental breakdown by the end of the game.

Personally, I'm hoping for Lord Genome as an ally. Would be pretty awesome. Also, some kind of Double Giga Drill Breaker with Simon. Then King Kittan would learn Giga Drill Breaker, and you could have a Triple Giga Drill Breaker. Then team all of them up with every mech that has a drill on it, for MAXIMUM GIGA DRILL BREAKER.

You can never have too many drills.

In fact, why not shove a drill on the Brasta, just for kicks? It could work with the SPIGOT VX.

I like to give Chirico Dash because he spends most of the game in the hilariously slow Red Shoulder Custom, and I have more important things to stuff his slots with than movement boosting parts.

It's up to whoever does it though, Chirico is plenty powerful with just Size Ignore. It's pretty much his only requirement for god tier.

My actual, real life copy just arrived in the mail. I've been playing an ISO until now.
Will I be able to play the actual game from the UMD with no worries? I'm on 6.35 PRO-B4.

It's for the underwater levels

The Japan route became better after the 2nd split but it still sucks compared to the CB route. I don't think I'll ever play the geass route. Playing most of the game with only 3 mechs would be boring.

Once I upgraded Alto's VF it became really useful, at least until it runs out of ammo.

As for Gravion, I noticed it has similar issue as Dai-Guard, that is, despite being super it gets blown up pretty fast. It's not a bad unit, but being around mission 40 I'm considering changing it for something else.

I just saw the 1st episode of Gravion 2 days ago, I was just using the support unit from gravion because she could re-supply. Pretty cool mecha, I'm going to use it a lot on Z1.

Now as far as essential goes... I don't know, Setsuna, Aoi and the Seed trio were more than enough in most maps.

Slap some Armor/HP parts on it, and it's good to go.

Like with most mechs with multiple pilots,Gravion's strength comes from it's diverse Seishin pool, and it's definitely worth leveling.

Alright have literally no idea what you're talking about when it comes to destructablility. My Gravion only got shot down once, and that was after a pair of crits from Original Gravion, every other time, it was just nothing more than 300 per attack.
Then again I used the hell out of Touga on the first playthrough and his defense was above 200 by the time I started.

The Gran Trooper is cool, and with the MUB, youget +300dmg to the Lightning Detonator, but it eats up energy fast.

I haven't watched the show yet but that fucking theme song got stuck in my head the first time I head it on ACE3.

The valkyries are some of the worst grunts I've ever used in a srw but then again that zentradi unit is worse than them. I still like Ozma enough to upgrade him and use him in every battle.

Well, mine got shot down by that flying gurren lagann boss on stage 40 despite having about 4000 HP AND using defense command. Just got hit by 4000+ DMG and nearly forced me to break my PSP, as I never allow any of my units to die in any turn based strategy game (i.e. save-load often). Finally got it to evade at one point. Normal enemies deal about 1000 dmg. As I say, it's not bad, but it's definitely not a tank I would expect super to be.

LOL NIGGA PLEASE. Valkyries didn't do shit in either of my 1st or 2nd playthroughs. I beat the shit out of everything with my Sol Gravion, Supers, and 00 Units.

How to get the UMD to run:
Add this to your PSP/GAME folder http://www.mediafire.com/?u5ze3uhxthg3lb5

2.Make sure to have "seplugins" folder in ms0:
3.Start on PSP and pick the version.txt you want to be at (I would suggest 9.99) there are 6 included all edited and uploaded by me
4.Wait just a few seconds (For memory stick LED to stop) then exit with circle and version.txt is installed/updated
-Don't edit files of folders or it may crash or write blank info on memstick
-There is also a README.txt with info supplied
