Ryuki's special effects are what jarred me the most. That specific level (year I guess you could say, but mostly they went seriously heavy on it) and brand of bad CG that just cannot be unseen, and I just couldn't get into the fights because of it. Gave up on the show quite fast.
Kiva wasn't all that bad. Yes it got annoying with those stated components, but it was still entertaining, and the method the story was given was worthy of note. The constant switching between main guy and his father's stories I found was well done, and did a fair if not great job of explaining many things. The romance and angsting on 'modern' side were crap, but I'd say the show was more than good enough to watch despite them. Although the ONE violin tune gets on my nerves. learn another damnit.
OOOs may, as many, borrow a lot from previous rider formulas, but its quite good anyways.
