My girlfriend watched and loved Starblazers when she was a kid, I decided we'd watch Space Battleship Yamato about a year ago.

She was quite irate about the amount of censorship in Starblazers, a lot of moral ambiguity was apparently cut out, she even said an entire episode might not have been present.

Everything Voyager Entertainment puts out looks like shit. They never got the restored transfers for the Yamato movies so it all looks like shit on the DVDs. And they don't exactly have the money to clean the Star Blazers video.
