It's kind of sad.
Voltron/Golion was one of my first mecha shows, now I despise it because it's become the symbol of why the mecha genre can't succeed in the west to me.

Seriously? Why? I don't think it was that successful. My only guess is they're trying to make a 'rival' series to MLP.

Anyway, the robot looks pretty good, the CGI wasn't as bad as it could have been, but dear god I wanted to punch the voice actors. "Awesome-tron" seriously? Who the fuck wrote that? Is this supposed to be some kind of psuedo-parody or something?
