Americans simply can't do mecha shows.
All they end up doing is making fart jokes and juvenile gags. And don't even get me started on the highschool setting and lame paint-by-number shoutouts to anime shows.

Even a mediocre mecha anime show like Gundam Wing is like reading classical literature compared to an american animated show.
