We go back and remake the original Gundam but with some major story changes (pic related). We kill off Char really early in the series and never mention or pay homage to him at any point after that. Also We give everyone Gundams and every male character is turned into fujiyoshi bait.

That's not a terrible idea or anything. As long as it's not simply copypasting Kallen as we know her, but rather creating a new character that looks like her but is closer to Domon and Rain in personality. And the whole setting and cast would have to be built carefully, keeping in mind that it's not the early 90s anymore.

Alternate Gundam universe in which Mobile suits aren't bulky giant robots, but instead are sleek power armors. Beam weaponry would be exclusive to the titular gundam which would also have a small supply of adrenaline ready for the soldier to use if needed. Also, the adrenaline would serve as the obligatory power-up for the series.
