So, what does everyone think of finishes on Gunpla models? I just ordered a 1/100 scale Musha Gundam and a 1/144 RG RX-78-2. I've used semi-gloss and flat finishes on my last 2 (a Zaku II and Heavyarms Custom, respectively). I prefer the flat coat, as I feel Semi-gloss and Gloss just make the damn things look like cheap plastic toys, rather than something I spend a lot of time on.

So, opinions? Can anyone show me an example of a good looking Gloss finish?
