Finally watched Starship Operator.
And I didn't expected the ending, well done.
Even aftersudden deathlevel of plot predictability, they managed to make something quite interesting with the character and the particular "TV show" plot.
The only downside is that I had very little of the Hard-SF I was promised. Would have been plot consuming to do in 13episode anyway.
Yet, this is the first time I have ever saw a "Bridge" that isn't placed outside and vulnerable.
First time they ever deal with range well beyond human sight.
And rarely have I seen any care about the effect on the crew of pulping acceleration.
To say the truth, they use far than enough serious SF themes to be memorable (even after "Planètes").
Discuss.
