I'm going to be trying to have a pony lucid dream tonight.

I shall post my results in the morning, and I'll just start using this "SunshineHooves" name I guess so that you can identify me in the morning.

And for anyone wondering, I'm using Nature Blossom's guide along with techniques from another guide.

Anyone on here have any success at attempting this?

Have you guys heard of sleep paralysis? There's a very high chance that you will get one when you're experimenting with lucid dreaming.

Basically in sleep paralysis, you are aware of yourself but you cant move a single muscle for about 5 minutes. You get anxious as fuck and alot of people experience creepy hallucinations. The only thing you probably do is patheticly try to struggle yourself out of it or relax. The latter is only for experienced people.

I hear sleep paralyzis is more likely to happen to people who sleep on their back.

It's usually very uncomfortable and scary, so I would advise against trying to achieve it.

Had a lucid dream....no ponys were invloved...scariest fucking shit i can possibly imagine. Do not want to sleep again. screaming, yelling, blood, kids becoming entranced by video games, people jumping off buildings, getting hit by cars, heat attacks and seizures, heads falling off, intestines being thrown up....at one point i think i as a dog.

not my favorite dream.

I remember ... "AH". "AH" is what made me aware i was dreaming. i dont know what it was meant to mean. i had completed the word IN my dream, but ive forgotten it.

I've been hearing about this idea non-stop for the past week since hearing about. It's an interesting concept and I'm curious to see if it works personally. Check out the #tulpa channel on rizon.net. There are a lot of guys on there who know about this, and a few that have tulpas; they can actually take a matter of months.

Wow. I think I might have come the closest to achieving lucidity through the WILD method yet. I woke up at one point, tried to WILD and fell asleep. Woke up again later and it was still dark outside, so I thought "might as well try it again". After FINALLY getting in a good position and relaxing I began to feel funny. I saw a sudden streak of blue lightning , my body felt wierd and then I saw a single tree made up of green lines in the middle of my vision. Everything else was black. The tree sorta faded and then a whole image took up my mind. It COULD have been a quick panorama of Ponyville but once again it was all highlighted in green with no other colours. At this point my body felt like it was flying and I remember telling myself "don't fight it, it's natural". Unfortunately I think my left eye began to open and it all vanished.

I am SO trying again tonight.

Unintentionally ended up lucid dreaming the other night. Dreamt I was playing guitar, looked at a stack of games, saw Halo 4. Took a few seconds to click, but when it did, I jumped through the floor (literally). Tried to conjure a pony, ended up conjuring... a book. Slipped out of it unfortunately and ended up reading the book. Had horse art in it. Was disappointed when woken up.

I have had a semi lucid pony dream but it was totally by accident i spent some time at Fluttershys house and we had a conversation about the animals but i cant remember what was said all in all i really enjoyed it and have been craving to see her again.
and as for the tulpa im in the process of trying to create one... not sure if i want it to be a pony...i dont realy like people so i don't want a humanoid tulpa..

Lucid dreaming needs alot of work.. but here's a few tips

1. Make a reality check for yourself, for example: hold your nose and try to breathe; if you can breathe your in a dream etc. Repeat this reality check on a regural basis and you will start to do it in your dreams.

2. While falling asleep, repeat in your mind "The next thing i'll see is a dream.. the next thing i'll see is a dream.."

3. If you want to go to ponyville, close your eyes in the dream, teleport there, then open your eyes.. It WILL happen, all you need is confidence and a clear idea where your teleporting. Closing your eyes makes it easier.

Semi-related, not really, but what the hell do you do when you can feel real life and the dream happening at once? Like, you can tell your eyes are closed and you're lying down, but you can still see the dream world with crystal clarity, in which you are standing up...?
It usually only lasts about a minute, then the dream world fades, but it's happening more and more often and I'm not even trying...
