What I'm trying to say is don't sweat the minutia of character design, you won't get it done anyway. When I get around to editing the 1d4chan articles for everything, I intend on including sections for alternate designs, or details that may be overlooked (/a/'s hairclip, if her glasses are oval or square...)
Anyway, there's more to a character besides what they look like. They've got to have a personality. What drives this character to act? What does she do? When does she get embarrassed or angry or lovestruck? That sort of thing, you know.
I could also be approaching the issue from a different perspective (make a character for a cast), so feel free to ignore me.
