Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said Turkey supports a Kosovo that is backed by the international community.
Erdogan met Wednesday Fatmir Sejdiu, president of the Kosovo Provisional Self-Governing Institutions, in Ankara.
"I believe that Kosovo will reach the point where it would have friendly relations with its neighbors and be backed by the international community," sources quoted Erdogan as saying.
"And Turkey supports Kosovo on its path to that point," Erdogan said.
