America should do a respectful controlled demolition on the aging Statue of Liberty and rebuild it with this statue instead. Except the only thing I would change is I would put him on the cross and make his face display a sorrowful, heart wrenching expression as a vivid reminder of the supreme sacrifice he had made to free us from sin.

I would also change the name from Statue of Liberty to Statue of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Same difference.

I think this is important because we have inadvertently disobeyed one of the key tenets of Christianity and have committed the major sin of idolatry. This will make things right.
