Richard looked down at his worn, wrinkled hands. They used to be so strong. He used to be in control, with his whole life in front of him. Now, everything seemed to just slip through his fingers. Happiness was always just out of reach.

"They hate me, Kevin."

"Nonsense."

"They do. And I'm beginning to hate myself. I've been doing a lot of thinking lately. About my life. I just...need some time."

Kevin sighed. He knew what was coming.

"Do you think you could, I dunno, takeover the site for a while? I need a little time to sort everything out."

"Of course. Anything for my best friend."

Richard smiled to himself. At least he had Kevin. Richard sat down beside him, and placed his tired head on Kevin's chest. He began to cry.
