An 11-year-old Midlothian boy is accused of ordering an 11-year-old girl to undress and stabbing her when she refused to do other things.

The boy now faces charges of aggravated assault, Midlothian police said Friday.

The boy entered the girl’s home the afternoon of Feb. 8, brandished a pocket knife and ordered her to undress, police said.

The girl, who told investigators she did not know the boy, had just arrived home from school and no adults were in the house, police said. She got undressed. But when the boy directed her to do other things, she refused.

“At a point in time, she said, 'Enough’s enough. I’m stopping,'” said police Capt. Don Cole.

When she tried to flee, police said, he stabbed her in the back.

The girl managed to escape and sought help from neighbors. They boy also fled, but neighborhood witnesses helped identify him, police said.

On Monday, officers executed a search and arrest warrant in the 1000 block of Crooked Creek Court, only a few streets from the girl’s home. They found a pocket knife and arrested the boy. He was taken to an Ellis County juvenile assessment center.
