Why do we hate him? Pick a reason. It's easy to dislike someone who's that vehemently opposed by both far rights and far lefts.

For me personally, it's his ridiculously lenient stances on illegals, his desire to stay in Iraq for the next 100 years (LOL), and his support for keeping the Bush tax cuts in place. Those latter two combined don't spell out good omens for our already ailing economy.

McCain has the vitality of a blunt rock. The president of the United States is a leadership position, an aging incumbent who hasn't held any real leadership position before, nor has he even had to do much to rally people to himself or his cause until this primary.

Barack not only displayed leadership skills during his election bid to the senate, he's also helped other Democrats win during the last primaries and he's got a mass of energetic supporters who respect and admire him.
