I have an idea for how to save /n/. I know it's not a news post but since /n/ is going to die I guess it hardly matters anymore.

Since mods and janitors have such shitty jobs and can't manage everyone else's shit efficiently, don't make them the bosses of managing shit.

Make every thread starter the mod of his own thread. He can delete whatever replies in his own thread he wants.

Those who want to start a good discussion can, and may delete whatever trolls and flames they feel harm the discussion.

Those who just want to delete anyone that proves them wrong, I believe we'll quickly learn to distinguish which threads are those kinds of threads, and we can just ignore them.

Market forces at work. Don't put the government in charge of things that the individuals can handle.
