Hey.

What do you guys think of my wheels?

I got it for free from a friend. Took it to shop and got New Gearing, new brake cables, new tires, trued the wheels, new handlebar tape, new pedals, and added the milk crate.

It's become my primary transport.

Get a front fender for consistency. And maybe replace the suicide levers with modern ones.

They're called "suicide levers" for a reason.

Modern "aero" brake levers (without the cable coming out from the top) made riding with your hands on the middle of the handlebars largely unnecessary. But if you like it, just get a pair of cyclocross levers.
Pic related, it's my rebuilt bike that originally had suicide levers.

That frame is so beautiful, look at how good of condition it's in.

It's a verticle dropout, which is not the best but, that paint job, the shape, the fact that it's a peugeot!

But look at those wheels! those handlebars!
Look at those nasty big rusty gears and pedals!

This bike is a disgrace to bikedom.

Sir/Lady, if you spend some money, get some new parts, and make this bike as beautiful as it should be, I will praise you eternally.

In some places having a milk crate is considered theft from the milk company (like taking a cup from a cafeteria). Hardly enforced unless a cop is being a dick.

The US, lol. Its probably meant to discourage other milk vendors from just glomming crates they see when they make pickup/delivery at stores. As I said, its hardly enforced. Maybe one homeless guy stitting on one in NYC got charged for that and everyone had a shitfit about it.
