Friend of the family is selling an 04 Hyndai accent with standard shift and only 55,500 miles on it. He's asking for $2,000 which is half of the bluebook value. No mechanical problems, minor scratches and has already passed whatever an "e-check" is...

Right now I'm driving a 98 Ford Contour that just needed 1200$ worth of repairs put into it (timing belt, ball joints, tires, etc). And it has 107K miles.

Seems like a decent improvement, what do you guys think?
