I am currently involved with Reno Air racer Howard Keefe's autobiography and recently finished late Eastern Airlines founder Eddie Richenbackers's. It seems that pilots write great books. Does ano/n/ have a favorite work(s) transportation literature?

pic related, it is the DC-7 Super Snoopy that finished 1 place ahead of keefe in the 1970 California 1000 pylon race (5 trips around a 200 miles course. The airliner apparently finished well because it was tough to pass and benefited from no fuel stop.
