Ok heres the deal... I am very interested in being an avionics electrical technician over at the Coast Guard. Theres even a local Coast Guard station very close to me that I would probably go to.
My issue however is the possibility of being shipped for a foreign country as I really want to stay near my home. I confess I dont know a ton about whats happening with the Coast Guard in say Iraq but I really dont want to take any chances. Call me a wimp I guess. Does anyone have any information or advice on this?
