The turn into the garage isn't very safe because it'll have to be at a weird angle. I wanna wait until this guy with the giant truck moves. >NO ANON DO IT NOW DONT ARGUE >end up scraping the car on the side of the garage entrance because it was a fucked up 100 degree turn and people were too busy going for their 3rd coffee at McD's or filing their nails to spot for me >Old guy gets back >"Don't bother cleaning it"

just read through the whole thing. op definitely seems like he has an attitude problem but i can see where hes coming from. even others said, it wont get him anywhere, but it's a good thing to have and its really up to op now to just keep trying to find jobs that fit him where retarded women dont make up 99% of the staff. if this were a different industry i wouldnt side with op, but the fact that hes young and actually cares about the safety of driving in some situations gives me hope that not all kids are retarded with on the road.>people would make op take breaks while he was in the middle of something, then bitch at him that it wasn't done when he'd get back from break >people would nitpick shit he'd do, and when he'd turn the tables and point the finger, they couldnt handle that >op puts an item he found in a car on the shelf, and the staff immediately worries about getting sued for identity theft >op was told heavy metal rots his brain >op was told to do dumb shit like use water instead of wiper fluid, ignore oil changes, and turn off the check engine lights & shit >people couldn't even give op proper directions when hed pick up customers >op tries to be friendly to a customer, and gets told not to do that anymore >op given a day off, and then asked if he could come in that day >every older person that worked there shouldn't have been driving, period >ops work hired a guy who didnt even have a valid license >ops interview lasted 30 seconds >op gets in shit for stupid customer complaints like "the car sat outside in the sun and now its hot" >op isnt allowed to piss when customers are in the store for fear of aids just find another job and hope it isnt full of retards. your attitude isn't really bad, it's just not the right one for a shitty job. i must say though, keep the stories coming.

I worked at Enterprise back in 2004 when I was living in Florida, just as a way to save up for a car. I quit after three months.
Lots of things go ignored, and managers would rather obsess over stupid shit like if the front entrance carpets were clean. We were so worried about everyone having the same tie and having the perfect air freshner in the room that lots of cars went untouched by us.
This was during spring break, where every car would come back 100% trashed and it was necessary that we get to work ASAP, but no, we spent most of the day watering plants in the lobby because "presentation is everything."

Bro, you have to sick this shit up and deal with it. Answer the fucking phone while your driving, don't fucking answer back (like you clearly have been, with all your "but im doing this instead"), just fucking do it and don't argue back. You may think what you are doing is the smart and correct thing to do, but if you want to go far in ANY job disagreeing with your boss is not going to help you.
