What's up bros,

Some of you might remember me as "guy with ricer intake" or "dude that totaled his RX-8 and wanted to buy a Mazdaspeed 3". Well, after some thought I've decided to use the insurance money to get an S2000, but I'm having a really hard time deciding what model year to go with.

As some of you probably already know, the earlier models (or AP1) have a 9000 RPM redline. Coming from an RX-8, this redline is very appealing and I would love to have it, but after 2004 (AP2), they lowered the redline to 8200 but added more torque in the midrange. Both cars have the same horsepower and all of that but apparently the AP2 is slightly quicker overall. The AP2 also has a softer suspension, traction control, and after 2006, VSA. I feel like these things are important things to have in a car that is a daily driver, and that a 9000 RPM redline is not a legitimate reason to completely disregard every model year after 2003.

So can I get some opinions from some S2K owners or fanatics? What S2000 is gud? Pic related its my totaled piece of shit RX-8 and the intake that everyone hated
