See /o/ I'm more of a SUV/truck/motorcycle man, even though I only got my first motorcycle under a week ago, and won't get my permit for a week or so. I'm very interested in automotive things, but don't have much experience or knowhow under my belt.

I'm going to be buying a 84 Chevy K5 blazer, that has the powertrain of a 87 K5 blazer. Is there anything I can mod to increase gas mileage, or proformance, or both? Ideally on a budget, and tools I would need to do the job. I'd really appreciate it.
