hey /o/, i mainly drive manuals. my DD is a 5 speed manual but i've driven six speeds before.

i was test driving an automatic car for a friend, and whenever i go from park to drive, or drive to reverse, or park to reverse, etc. it makes this 'clunk' sound. theres no lag in it going into gear, and it gears up in a fine fashion. it's a 4 speed automatic, is this what most automatics sound like when you shift into a different gear? I'm not sure to tell him if it's good or not, he lives about 30 minutes away
