Actually, Cycle World did an article on their bobber, and actually rated it pretty well. Seems like the owner of CCW actually tries to find the best part suppliers in china and assembles the bikes in the US. So even though its LOLCHINESE, they are supposedly half decent actually.

This company is stealing all my ideas though. A couple years ago I thought up a great business idea of selling, cheap, baisc, low displacement motorcycles for the masses that would look cool to boot. This guy beat me to it. That's what I get for sitting on my ass I suppose.

Also aren't LiFan engines mostly honda clones, for shits and giggles buy one and cram in a CR500 engine. Cheap bike, cheaper insurance, fuck awesome fast

Lifan seems to clone all the jap engines, I own a vstar 250 (50%more HP than this shitty thumper and same torque). Lifan makes a 1:1 clone of the whole damn bike.

Given the specs of this engine tho I'd say it's more like a clone of suzuki's 250cc thumper that they used (a little more succesfully, with FI) in their tu250x

Honestly. Really tempted to buy one and try to mount the ninja 500 engine I have sitting in my garage on it.

Keep in mind that the frame (also brakes, suspension) may have its limits to how much power and weight it can handle
