So /o/,
I'm having a strange problem with my car. When shifting into neutral and coasting to a stop, my car nearly dies. The revs go up and down between 0 and about 1200-2000, as though its searching for the idle RPM. Once it hits zero my interior lights dim a bit and i see a bunch of my red lights come on in my instrument cluster. It gradually makes its way closer and closer to the idle rpm until it reaches it after like 10 seconds.
The rev bouncing seems to be more extreme the faster I'm going before I start to coast. If I'm doing 50km/h and start to coast to a stop the rev bouncing doesn't reach under like 200 and doesn't hinder my driving at all. If I'm doing 100km/h and switch to neutral the car hiccups with a loss of power for about half a second before it seems as though the RPM's start "breathing"
Pic related, my car is an e36.
