i have 5k. need a car. have 3 priorities i order

Speed
reliability
Looks
Mpg's

Thinking of an rx-7 because they are cheap as fuck. i work with cars as a living so i know my way around a vehicle. so /o/ what car is best car, for a DD and 5k. BTW i live in good ole Michigan.

But you have to ask us wut car iz gud? o_O

Also, define "speed". Corners or straights? Because a foxbody is deadnuts reliable and a 5.0 can be built up cheap, but it can't turn worth shit without at least $2k in suspension mods. On the other hand, a Miata or RX7 can turn, but it takes some doing to get any real acceleration out of either.

You could always do best of both worlds and do a V8 swap into an FC, but if you need a car NOW, that's not really gonna work.

Any year civic with a D or B swap would be your best bet. It doesnt have to be turbo, civics are light enough so they dont need the extra boost.

also regular mainnence is important on these rotaries, bein g a mechanic might make this pretty easy, but parts will surely need to be replaced frequently in you're pro rusted metal state
