My original statement was about arguing that 'leafsprings' (not I didn't even specify which sort) are better than other suspension set ups.
Which I think can be proven by world application. If leafsprings were better more people would be using them.
They only come in a hand full of cars now, and one of the most popular modifications to those cars is to rip them out and replace them, that speaks volumes.
