>>4626727on the electric vehicles front, they're going to have huge problems setting up an infastructure, due to the large stress it will place on a countries electric grid system, for example when everyone get home from work and charges up the cars. their other major problem is the range they can achieve is atrocious, so it'd have to be damn cheap to replace the battery for a charged one at a station or they'll never take off.
what i'm hoping for over electric cars is hydrogen cars, which retain some semblance of range, performance and shouldn't be outrageously difficult to implement, as gas stations do basically what a hydrogen station would do, but storing the fuel will be the hard bit.
KERS will only ever have a place on the racetrack, but electric regen could see widespread application if electric cars become popular
