why do people buy new cars? more accurately, why do people take out loans and spend their entire savings on new cars?

>spend 15 grand on it, could include new tranny or rebuild, and new motor (or rebuild), new tires, redone all wiring, new stereo system, entirely performance suspension, possibly tarbo'd, etc.
>you now have a car that can go faster, more reliable (non-china aftermarket parts are normally more reliable than their china-factory equivalents), and have cheaper insurance because the car is older

i mean, unless you want a specific bodystyle that's only available on a new car, why not?
