I think it's new driver time.
I'm 18, just got my license last october. My first car is a 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse, non turbo. Ran fine for the longest time and was fun as hell. Changed the oil, and now all hell is breaking loose. Lifters tick, idling is fucked, timing belt ripped in the center and probably won't last too long. I'm looking to get a new car. I really want to get a third generation Camaro or Firebird. I love the way they look. I found a Camaro for $2,000 on CL that I already know he has and that I can get if I sell my car, thing is I still live with the rents and they pay my insurance until I move out. I also don't have a job anymore. Right now I'm paying $170 for a p.o.s. 4 cylinder on my insurance, and I'm just wondering roughly how much insurance will be on a 1987 Camaro with a 305 V8 on a new driver?
If it helps I'm on State Farm and I have a 3.4 GPA. Not sure if it's different in different states or whatever
