Hello /p/,

I am about to buy my first dslr. I haven't seen a recent thread about the T3i so I though I'd ask your guys' opinion.

I have done some reading and seen some reviews on youtube, and come to the conclusion that there isn't much difference between the T3i and the T2i. What's bugging me is the fact that there is a very small price gap right now between the two bodies. I can easily get the most recent model by cashing out an extra $100.

I've seen the T3i been referred to as the "60d killer." Thoughts? I'm looking to spend less than $1,000, so the rebels are in my budget.
