Hi, /lit/. This is a gear question, so I apologize in advance.

I got this camera from my mom and I've found it quite comfortable (nice focus, it doesn't kick when the shutter closes). But I only have a 45mm lens. I was thinking about buying one more, to have a little more variety. How do SLR lenses compatibility work? And, more specifically, Minolta's.

Also, some /p/eople have laughed at this camera in the past. Feel free to do so, please be kind enough to bump the thread while doing it.
