>>1251820Not my photo. I found it in my "to retouch" folder of pictures I've downloaded from lolmayhem over the years.
>>1251821Do you mean in the raw conversion I posted in the opening post? That was just a quickie so you guys could see the file you're working with. If you mean in the actual raw file, then the highlights are recoverable.
>>1251830Shouldn't you have saved that until I wrote an angry post?
>>1251838Good point, I forgot to mention payment. Since this is a nationwide advertising campaign for a known brand of makeup, the pay would be $550. Of course you don't actually have to put in the same amount of time that you would on an actual $550 job, but it would be good practice. If the same retouch wasn't going to be used in an advertisement campaign you'd probably get closer to $100 - $200 for doing the same job - that's why retouchers are always trying to land big name clients for published advertisement work. It pays so much more for the same effort.
>>1251839You can. That's the kind of rates that Pascal's retouching house would charge for a high end advertisement, although it would probably involve CG, a giant high-rez poster of some kind, or have something extremely tricky/time consuming. For a simple retouch like this that amount would be a little extreme.
